If mountaineering is at the top of your list of passions, then for nothing in this world you can miss the Mentok Kangri Mountaineering . This is one of the most infamous trek for mountaineers all around the world. The Ladakh Valley is a home to the Himalayas, that contains some real magneficient and great mountains in the world and when we talk about trekking and mountaineering in the Himalayas then nothing can get more exciting than trekking the mentok kangri summit. Mentok Kangri is a mountain in Ladakh. It has 3 summit points, mentok 1, 2, 3. And height of around 6250 meters. Mentok 1 is at an altitude of 6,250 meters. That alone makes it one of the most challenging and adventurous trek in Ladakh. The view of the summit and from the summit is an alone reason why many people want to climb it.
The trip starts with your arrival at Leh and checking into your hotel. You will experience the climate difference right at the airport. Today you need to rest so that you get up energetic by tomorrow. Stay at the hotel overnight.
This is where you get in tune with the climate of Leh. The changing climate has an immediate effect on a person and this is the day where a person gets along with the cooler temperature. Get acclimated to the surrounding weather thus curbing the altitude sickness.You can even have a day reserved for the shopping at the local market and get some sightseeing too. Take your meals at night and stay overnight at your hotel room.
After you have your breakfast you must leave for the village of Korzok.Korzok is village that is precisely located on the banks of Tsomoriri lake. Tsomoriri lake is among the best lakes in Ladakh. This lake is less deep and saline in nature but it's beauty makes anyone go awestuck. You need to reach Karzok by the end f the day. The day task gets accomplished after the whole 7 hours and it ends with a stay at night in Korzok.
On this day we need to rest to get accustomed to the high altitude climate therefore this day is reserved for you to get acclimated to the environment and it's landscape. Today you can visit nearby karzok village and interact with the locals and nomadic tribes. The karzok village is at the height of 4500m above sea level.
After breakfast we have to start trekking to the base camp which is at the height of 5400m. this might take 5-6 hours and then we can set up our tents at the base camp for an overnight stay
This again is a rest day for everyone so as to get accustomed to the new higher altitude. You can take an enthralling view from the base camp and also make preparations for tomorrows summit trek. Overnight stay in tents.
The trek might start around mid day depending on the current climate and conditions suitable for trekking the summit. This is decided by our expert guides for the safety of the trekkers and also for reaching in the summit in the most appropriate way. When you summit, you will surely come across the amazing beautiful lakes , landscapes, snow capped areas and much more than you can imagine. This is one of the most important and memorable days of all days in the trek detailed out because of actually climbing the summit in real and witnessing the act. You will return to the base camp and rest for the night over there.
After breakfast you will start your descend back to the beautiful village of karzok. Meet those generous villagers on the way back and click some pictures of them and of the landscape. Lock this memory in your heart forever. Further you need to revert to leh by dusk. Drive towards Leh and stay at hotel in the city.
Today you need to reach the Airport of Leh by the morning and catch your flight early .Like every memory you have ever made, you will make a new one to cherish for all your life with your flight back from Leh, ending one of the most memorable trip of your life.
You shall be advised of the current situation, weather and other conditions of the tour before departure.
P.S :This trek is not for the beginners keeping their safety in mind.

This was my first visit to Manali ladakh, and it was wonderful. We had a tour manager, an expert guide and a local guide to take us round & show us the sites. The hotel was excellent, quiet & secluded.
