As adventurous as it may seem, the trek can get dangerous at times if you are not precautionary enough. So it is advisable for a trekker to gear up with all the significant things such as :

    · Glares/Glasses for the eyes, keeping in mind the snowy and windy weather one faces during the trip.
    · Snowshoes, often known as crampons, with a perfect grip,
    · Facemask for the face.
    · Thermals and warm clothes for trekking in minus temperature.
    · Medical kits are a must.
    · And most importantly, get well acquainted with the ice layer conditions. It's a lot better to have a guide along. The safety lies in the numbers, larger the group, better the safety.
