There are many hidden assets in Ladakh and one of them is the alpinism taking place from Phyang to Hunder. The trek gets concluded by the end of 8 days. Local villages, wild flowers laid along the trail, mountains encircling the landscape, tribal people is what this Trekking is about. Best time to experience the Trekking is from May - Oct.
Most number of expeditions get started from Leh and there too. This trek is somewhat similar. You must fly down to Leh and stay there for a day. This day is also reserved for you to get assimilated to the weather conditions of Leh. You can take rest in the former hours and stroll through the market for later hours of the day. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Today you need to reach Phyang camp by the end of the day. Drive till Phyang and later trek to reach Phyang Phu. Alpine plantation will be laid across the trail till you reach Phyang Camp. You have to cross the highest pass and the only one on this day, Lasermo La base, elevated at 4800m above the sea level. Overnight stay will be at the camping site of Phyang Phu.
On this day, trudge through the elevated pass of Lasermo La to reach the apex at 5400m. You are going to view the Karakoram Range in front of you, leaving the Stok range behind you. You need to wake up early to tramp from Phyang Phu to Lasermo base camp and finally to Lasermo High Camp. Stay overnight at the same campsite, thus placing your tents under the roof of Stars.
Post your breakfast, move towards the landscape of Drok Yokma standing at an elevated altitude of 4200m above the sea level. Dork Yokma is considered as one of the high pitched valley where the trail is surrounded with the wild flowers all over. This valley gives you a perfect picturesque view of the adjacent villages. As you reach Drok Yokma, pitch your tent and stay there overnight.
Today you need to move from Drok Yokma to Hunder Drok. Descending into an altitude of 4000m, you are going to arrive at Hunder Drok. Trudge through the landscape with easy gradients along the way. The pass of Lasermo La is feeded from the glaciers surrounded with the snow-capped cliffs. Overnight stay takes place at the campsite of Hunder Drok.
After you are done with your breakfast, tramp from Hunder Drok to Hunder, the desired destination of this trekking. This trail includes the terrains including forests, hills and the ancient forts. You are going to catch a sight of Karakoram Range infront of you and later stay at Hunder campsite inside the tents pitched within the landscape.
You need to revert back to Hunder on this day. Moving past Khardung La, you will arrive at Leh. After you reach Leh, stay at the assigned Hotel overnight post you dinner.
Fly down to your hometown on this day in the former hours of the day. With all the memories in you heart, happily and blissfully.
You shall be advised of the current situation, weather and other conditions of the tour before departure.
*In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled or change of dates might happen, and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.

Payment for booking your experience: The fee can be paid by Online Bank Transfer(NEFT)/Cheque deposit/ Demand draft. Instruction for payment will be forwarded along with your booking confirmation details via email. When your transfer is done, please e-mail us a confirmation mail with your transfer details, so that we can secure your reservation efficiently and make further arrangements to logistics.
In the event of cancellation of your booking due to any avoidable / unavoidable circumstances at your end, we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive the advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows: -

This trek follows an ancient trade route connecting the Indus and Nubra valleys which was part of the old Silk Road network stretching from India to Central Asia. The trail goes through one of the least visited areas in Ladakh. Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes. The trek takes place through eco-friendly zone; do not encourage littering the local sites or campsites. The horses carries only 10kg weight/trekker; be wise with your packing.
